Marriage has become a very big business industry today. that too only for the sake of rich people.Recently we all have observed some very highfigh weddings in andhrapradesh and in some parts of india.I wonder that wedding is no more a private affair? if these people are celebrities and in public life,do they have a right to exibit their wealth? by doing so what signals they are giving to society? interestingly many of these celebrities and political personalities who wants to be role models, never go for intercaste or interreligion marriages.even if they go, they marry people in the same status or of higher status. Also there are some instances that even if children from rich families fall in love with middleclass guys or girls, that love will not only be discouraged, but also destroyed.
ok,now coming to the point, how ideal can be these marriages? they can go for a simple wedding.the money saved can be given to charitable activities.cinima stars who live for poor people in movies should think about this. politicians who give speeches on poverty, idealism, caste should think what they are contributing to society by such lavish weddings.instead they can perform a simple wedding and feed many poor with the money.
one should follow infosys narayanamurthy and his wife sudhamurthy in this wedding matters. even amitabh bachhan can be appreciated in this manner for keeping his son's marriage a private affair.usually news means something new.but whenever a rich guy or girl is getting married, it is becoming a big news for channels, papers etc.why can't this be more private and simple affair?recently one nri came to india and celebrated his sons marriages in a very big way which costed nearly 50 crores.many channels say marriage at gvk's house costed rs.100crores,chiranjeevi's rs.50crores,jr.ntr,allu arjun, nara lokesh etc. In all these weddings did any one marry some one from middleclass or poor family? by seeing thse people common and middleclass people are also going for lavish weddings and spending all their savings.
